About The Position

As a Product Owner Manager, you will lead and develop Agile Product Owners while shaping product strategy that delivers meaningful outcomes for customers, businesses, and technology partners. This role blends hands-on product leadership with people management, helping teams translate strategy into prioritized backlogs and predictable delivery of value. Responsibilities Lead and coach Agile Product Owners to drive strong backlog management, prioritization, and value-focused decision-making. Partner with business and technology leaders to align product roadmaps with strategic initiatives and measurable business outcomes. Ensure teams translate business needs into clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria. Guide roadmap sequencing, delivery forecasting, and trade-off decisions to support predictable delivery. Enable balanced delivery across new features, enhancements, defects, and technical improvements. Promote continuous improvement across product discovery, backlog refinement, and stakeholder feedback. Foster cross-team alignment and manage dependencies across products and platforms. Contribute to organizational agile maturity by participating in and shaping product and agile communities of practice. Act as a people manager for Agile Product Owners, supporting career development, performance management, and growth planning. Identify and develop product talent through coaching, feedback, and mentorship. Remove organizational impediments impacting Product Owners and escalate systemic issues when needed. Qualifications Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Agile Product Owner or in a comparable agile product role. At least 2 years of people management or team leadership experience. 10 or more years of experience working in technology or technology-enabled business environments. Demonstrated ability to align product execution to strategic business goals. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across business, technology, and leadership audiences. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. Agile or product certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager (POPM). Experience working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment. Hands-on experience with Jira or similar agile backlog and roadmap tools. Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 102,900 - 171,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
