About The Position

This role is a hybrid model and commuting to the office 2x's a week. The office location options are Portsmouth, NH, Columbus, OH, Indianapolis, IN, and Plano, TX. As an IAM Product Owner you are a highly visible face of identity and access management both within and outside of our department. In this role, you will lead the charge keeping Liberty's Promise by protecting our systems and data from risk and enabling business through cybersecurity compliance.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and IT project management.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years direct experience with agile teams.
  • 7 years in business, technology, or consulting.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem solver with demonstrated ability to lead a team.
  • Experience in the insurance industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of relevant products and portfolio preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the voice of the customer and the organization through the delivery of business value.
  • Work closely with stakeholders (business and technology) to define and prioritize features and stories.
  • Ensure alignment with customer needs and organizational goals.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure an aligned understanding of how the squad/team can provide the highest value.
  • Lead a squad responsible for strengthening governance, risk, and compliance for IAM systems.
  • Partner with IT, Governance, Risk and Compliance, and Business Stakeholders to align product goals with strategic priorities.
  • Resolve issues and remove execution roadblocks in collaboration with squads/teams.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies roadblocks.
  • Understand and communicate regulatory, compliance, and industry constraints.
  • Contribute to product and portfolio-level planning and roadmap development.
  • Maintain continuous communication across organizational levels to ensure clarity of outcomes and value delivery.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog; ensure clarity and actionability of user stories.
  • Actively participate in agile ceremonies (planning, demos, retrospectives).
  • Monitor product health, balancing short-term delivery with long-term sustainability.
