This is an onsite/hybrid position - requires one day a week onsite. Location: Mount Sinai Health, 150 E 42nd Street, New York, NY The Product Owner II is responsible for executing the strategic direction, continuous improvement, functional and technical roadmap for AI products. This role requires a deep understanding of both existing capabilities and the broader AI marketplace (commercial vendor tools, Epic-integrated features, and emerging digital and AI innovations). Product Owners work with cross functional teams to: Understand how to compete and differentiate in product delivery Build the right foundations to create and scale differentiated experiences Plan, manage, and drive applications for success in meeting product experience goals Manage backlog of product deliverables, and groom according to learnings from qualitative and quantitative sources and in alignment with organizational goals Consult with stakeholders to define requirements and develop solutions translating client's business requirements into specific systems, applications and designs for solutions. Ensure all products meet internal AI governance and compliance standards by routing applicable tools through the AI Assurance Lab for risk evaluation, model card documentation, and performance monitoring. As a leader in the organization the Product Owner II will also be responsible for leadership activities inclusive but not limited to the following. Advising leadership on the technology portfolio within and sometimes outside of a product area of focus Utilize in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and directions, business systems and requirements to conduct independent analyses and reviews of technical and business requirements. Understanding the long-term business objectives and proposes technology strategies to meet those objectives by introducing innovation through technology Mentor and coach junior product owners or cross-functional partners Influence without direct authority across engineering, data science, design, operations, and compliance Drive alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders with competing priorities
