About The Position

MVP is seeking a Product Owner for Healthcare Applications to act as the strategic link between healthcare operations and our software partners. You will own the product roadmap for core clinical applications, translating the needs of surgeons, nurses, and administrators into actionable technical requirements. Your mission is to maximize the value of our software investments by driving internal adoption and holding vendors accountable for performance and innovation. Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management or Clinical Informatics experience.
  • Experience with EHR / Practice management systems required; direct experience with Nextech EHR, Veradigm PM, or specialized ASC software a plus.
  • Proven ability to influence vendor roadmaps and negotiate feature priority.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements (HIPAA, MIPS/MACRA).
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge clinical operations with IT teams and drive adoption and process improvements.
  • Thrive in a dynamic environment of continuous improvement.
  • Passionate about driving success through partnerships and metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Management: Facilitate Clinical Steering Committees to gather feedback and prioritize the enhancement backlog.
  • Vendor Relations: Own various clinical products such as Nextech, Veradigm, ASC software vendors, and others. Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to ensure roadmap alignment and SLA performance.
  • Optimization & Training: Identify underutilized features and collaborate with the training team to improve clinical staff proficiency.
  • Support & Documentation: Create and maintain documentation and SOPs; provide support for coverage and escalations as needed.
  • Requirement Engineering: Write clear user stories and functional specifications for vendors or internal IT integration teams.
  • UAT & Release Management: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for patches and major version upgrades to ensure zero disruption to patient care.
