You will be responsible for translating business needs into secure, scalable solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and compliance standards. This role is critical to embedding security into the product lifecycle and driving innovation in threat mitigation and resilience. You will: Own the product backlog for cybersecurity features and services. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to define secure-by-design solutions. Prioritise epics and user stories based on risk, business value, and technical feasibility. Ensure delivery aligns with regulatory and compliance frameworks. Champion DevSecOps practices and threat modelling across squads.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in cybersecurity or infrastructure domains.
  • Strong understanding of threat modelling, secure software development, and DevSecOps.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working in agile environments and using tools like Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Certified Product Owner are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the cybersecurity product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical strategy.
  • Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning in collaboration with Scrum Masters and engineering teams.
  • Embed security requirements into all stages of the product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.
  • Work closely with enterprise architects to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement across business units, including risk, compliance, and IT operations.
  • Monitor product performance and security posture, driving continuous improvement.
  • Support incident response and vulnerability remediation planning.
  • Ensure documentation and audit trails meet internal and external standards.
