About The Position

The Product Owner; reporting to the VP of Data-Applications and a member of the core app dev team, the application development Product Owner will own product features & roadmap for all internal custom workflow application(s) along with supporting ongoing operations of all corporate technology applications. The PO will participate in maintenance and enhancement of all applications (custom/SaaS/COTS) in the corporate platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX business or Information Systems is required, advance degree a plus.
  • At least 1 year experience in product development as a PO or BA or Process analyst
  • Experience in using UX design tools (Figma/balsamic, Loveable), and creating both web and mobile workflows.
  • Experience and familiarity with Agile SDLC methodology.
  • Experience with writing user stories using JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in conducting user requirement gathering sessions and brainstorming sessions with end users.

  • Experience in Real Estate and Property Management industry a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance corporate platforms (e.g. MetroNav, MetroVerse, MIMS, AOE, …) to improve user engagement and satisfaction through research, intuitive design, and user testing
  • Create seamless employee experiences and workflows across departmental functions through integrating various platforms
  • Implement, integrate, roll out, and manage new custom applications/platforms
  • Conduct market research, analyze current business processes and user feedback to inform product development decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as a liaison between technology and business groups to ensure seamless product delivery, alignment, and effective communication
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in product development and corporate tech platforms
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to product development and integration
  • Own requirement gathering process and create product feature backlog.
  • Conduct agile ceremonies and conduct backlog refinement/retro/review sessions with application development team members.
  • Conduct end user training on how to use new applications and partner with MCity Academy HR team to create required training materials.
