The Product Operations Manager (Risk & Controls) will play a critical role in safeguarding the health and stability of AXP’s Consumer Banking products through proactive business monitoring, investigations, and structured escalation management. This people leader will oversee day-to-day execution of a portfolio of product analytical control monitors (ACM), key risk indicators (KRIs), product control routines, and issue identification processes to ensure early detection of emerging risks and drive fast, coordinated resolution. The successful candidate will identify product problems early and take steps to prevent customer impacts by partnering closely with partners in Product, Technologies, Servicing, Compliance, and Control Management to ensure clear problem definition, timely remediation, and end-to-end governance.
