About The Position

We’re looking for a Product Operations & Commercialization Manager to own the connective tissue between Product, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, and external partners. This role is equal parts project leader, systems builder, and operator — ensuring that products move from concept to market smoothly, sustainably, and at scale. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves complexity, thrives in cross-functional environments, and takes pride in building processes that make teams faster and better.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product operations, project management, commercialization, or adjacent roles within CPG, food & beverage, wellness, or regulated consumer products.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional product and packaging initiatives from concept through launch.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage external partners (co-manufacturers, packaging vendors, creative production partners).
  • Strong comfort owning packaging projects (even if not a packaging engineer) — including sourcing, vendor qualification, sustainability trade-offs, and cost considerations.
  • Experience working in fast-growing, ambiguous environments where priorities evolve.

Responsibilities

  • Cross-Functional Product and Project Execution: Own integrated product execution across all physical Product at Ketone-IQ — including consumables, packaging, retail merchandising, and branded materials — guiding project initiatives from concept through commercialization.
  • Define and manage launch plans, dependencies, and decision gates to balance speed, cost (COGS), quality, and operational feasibility.
  • Drive alignment across Product, Marketing, Sales, Creative, Quality, and Supply Chain, ensuring clarity of ownership and momentum across complex initiatives.
  • Ensure downstream needs of GTM Teams (Sales, E-commerce, and Marketing — e.g., product pages, creative assets, sales materials, and operational readiness) are considered early and sequenced appropriately.
  • Partner with stakeholders post-launch to monitor Product performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities, upgrades, cost-savings, and operational improvements.
  • Systems, Process & Operating Rhythm: Design and maintain scalable systems for project tracking, documentation, and cross-functional visibility (e.g., Notion; PJM tools like Asana, Smartsheets, Instagantt, Google Suite).
  • Build clear, repeatable workflows for product development, specification management, packaging changes, and commercialization that enable teams to move faster without sacrificing rigor.
  • Continuously identify friction points and operational gaps. Evolve processes to improve execution quality and decision-making as the business scales.
  • Packaging and Physical Goods Commercialization: Lead RFPs and supplier sourcing/evaluation for packaging, merchandising, merch, and other physical components, assessing options across cost, quality, scalability, sustainability, and risk.
  • Partner closely with Quality, Creative, and Supply Chain to ensure new components and vendors are properly qualified, prototyped, press-checked (if printed), and produced to quality first time and at scale.
  • Own primary product packaging holistically — including development, component changes, custom development, sustainability improvements, and vendor qualifications.
  • Support onboarding of new partners and transitions between vendors to ensure continuity and quality.
  • Strategic and Special Initiatives: Jump into high-priority initiatives as needed — especially where structure, coordination, and execution are required to unblock progress.
  • Act as a thought partner to the VP of Product on how to scale product execution, operating cadence, and cross-functional collaboration as the business grows.
  • Help embed sustainability and broader stewardship impact considerations into decision-making, Product pipeline development and manufacturing, reporting, and KPI tracking.
