About The Position

Opus1 is building the platform that powers the next generation of performing arts education. As a leading SaaS CRM for music and performing arts schools, we help organizations manage, grow, and engage their communities through modern, intuitive software that connects administrators, instructors, and students. We're a fast-growing startup passionate about enabling creative education to thrive! This is a temporary contract position lasting approximately 18 weeks, with an expected commitment of 40 hours per week. The selected candidate must be available for the entire duration, as the role is designed to provide continuous coverage during a planned leave of absence. This role executes across the Product Marketing function, working closely with and under the strategic direction of the VP of Marketing. You will keep Opus1's go-to-market engine running by maintaining ongoing marketing programs, coordinating and executing product and feature launches, and building content assets that communicate Opus1's value to its ICP. You'll serve as a reliable, high-output operator who keeps pace with a fast-moving product team, ensures the website and sales content stay accurate and compelling, and makes sure every release reaches the right audience with the right message. The ideal candidate is a hands-on B2B marketer (4–7 years) who thrives in execution mode. You can take a brief and run with it, manage multiple work streams without dropping the ball, and produce clean, polished content with minimal back-and-forth. You're a strong writer, comfortable leveraging AI, a natural project manager, and a collaborative partner to Product, Sales, and Demand Gen. You're comfortable working in a startup environment where priorities shift, timelines are tight, and ownership is real. Experience with or enthusiasm for music and performance arts education is a plus.
