About The Position

DAP is hiring a Product Marketing Intern for Summer 2025. This internship will involve various responsibilities aimed at supporting the marketing team in their efforts to promote DAP's products effectively. The intern will work on creating master files, databases, and application matrices, as well as assisting in demo day preparations and national sales meetings. The role requires creativity and collaboration with other marketers to explore new ideas and strategies for product promotion.

Requirements

• Major: Business, Marketing, Communication.
• College classification (freshman, sophomore, junior or senior): Junior or Senior.
• Confident collaborating & communicating with other marketers in different roles.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment.
• Applied understanding of basic marketing principles.

Responsibilities

• Create a folder with all print outs / digital of all Foam primary and secondary pkg as a master file for easy reference.
• Create a master application matrix for 1K and 2K foam.
• Gather all the users thus far that we have had touch points and create a database for future contact.
• Possibly create a list of foam insulation contractors in MD area for potential contact / resource.
• Put together cross section/ physical displays of foam for demo days.
• Think up new ideas for demos.
• Take existing / old 'kill' sheets and update them with new data and visuals.
• Think up potential blue cards for Foam category innovation and pull ideation stimulation images for PPT for the CREATE session.
• Assist in the National Sales Meeting 2025 with spoof video ideation, sample ordering, live demos, booth set up, etc.
• Analyze HVAC category to find white space (potential NPD/innovation areas) and create an application matrix.
• Find new ways to use foam through out-of-the-box thinking.
• Develop cross-category kit ideas.
• Conduct a comprehensive look at all stages of a residential build and line up all DAP projects that are applicable at every stage.
• Categorize DAP projects by Trade and line up all the DAP products that each trade will use.
