About The Position

The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes. ​As a Product Marketing Intern at Lam Research, you will help drive market strategy, product definition, pricing, and lifecycle execution for a portfolio of upgrade or core products. You will translate broad business objectives into structured product marketing plans, partner cross‑functionally to influence product direction, and equip the organization with insights and tools that strengthen customer value and competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • BS/MS Engineering (industrial, computer etc) or Engineering management
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Programming: python or other
  • Data analytics: experience with data wrangling or working with large datasets
  • AI: experience with agentic AI for problem solving

Responsibilities

  • Conduct market assessments and develop business plans, including Served Available Market (SAM), opportunity sizing, demand timing, and positioning.
  • Work with marketing analysts to enrich datasets, and create data models and tools to improve business process efficiency
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, account teams, and product lines to identify new opportunities, drive market share strategy and product relevance
  • Regularly share insights and provide product training to internal stakeholders and account teams.
  • Maintain product roadmaps in partnership with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Line leadership.
  • Update product collateral, ensuring clear articulation of value, differentiation, and customer outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify new opportunities at the customer
  • Provide support for tracking and achieving CSBG and Lam sustainability goals
