Requirements

  • 2-4 years of product marketing experience with at least 1 year in a market-facing role.
  • Exceptional ROI-tracking skills.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups and a solid writer.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, and third parties.
  • Ability to see the bigger picture while balancing long-term strategies with immediate market dynamics.
  • Attention to detail; comfortable thoroughly learning their product and documenting all nuances.
  • Experience working across multiple teams with the ability to influence others without direct authority.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for a product, bridging the gap between product development, marketing, and sales.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs.
  • Craft compelling messaging that highlights product features and benefits.
  • Monitor product performance to drive adoption and revenue.
  • Understand our buyers, who they are, how they buy and their key buying criteria.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market needs and pain points.
  • Translate product features into compelling customer-facing messaging.
  • Guide and inform the GTM strategy - which channels, what type of merchant, which partners and when.
  • Support product launch initiatives, ensuring the product is ready and marketed effectively.
  • Partner to develop sales tools and collateral; act as an advisor on all training materials.
  • Partner closely with LOB Marketing and Central Marketing teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Create product content (videos, blogs, presentations), and manage promotional events.
  • Work closely with Product, Sales, Engineering, and other stakeholders to align strategies.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and analyze data to evaluate the success of marketing strategies.
