Job Description: Monolithic Power, an industry leading power semiconductor company, has been experiencing explosive growth due to our technology, solutions and, most importantly, our team. We are actively seeking sharp, knowledge thirsty engineering students who are interested in focusing on power. Power is used in every electrical/electronic system, so the need is there and growing. Join an established and rapidly growing segment of electronics. Our paid Product Marketing Engineer interns will learn about the company, business, products, technology and team. The intern will be engaged with the Product Marketing team supporting top customers with some of the best power technology in the industry while getting hands-on experience with guidance from experienced engineers and the opportunity to present your findings to company leadership.

Requirements

  • Written and verbal proficiency in English with excellent communication skill
  • Ability to effectively balance strong technical and problem solving skills with solid relationship-building capabilities in a fast pace team.
  • 3rd year BSEE or 4th year MSEE student
  • Must be able to live in San Jose during internship

Responsibilities

  • Research MPS company, power products and technology.
  • Learn how to work with IC design, field applications, factory applications and marketing communications to ensure the timely, and successful, launch of new products into the marketplace.
  • Learn how to drive pricing strategy for each product, based primarily on the value of its function for any given application.
  • Work with all inquiries for MPS’ products from our field sales, applications engineers and customers via telephone or electronic communication.
  • Present project summary and results to senior leadership.
