About The Position

Forescout has an excellent opportunity for a strategic and business-focused Network Security Product Marketing Director to join our high-energy, multi-cultural, world-changing team. As the Network Security Product Marketing Director, you will be the voice of the customer and market to define / direct how Forescout delivers on relevant network security / zero trust assurance outcomes as well as the adoption of on-premises and cloud-based solutions. Using this insight, you’ll create compelling and differentiated messaging and evangelize it through our marketing and sales efforts and into our analyst community. You will serve as market expert to our sales, sales enablement, product management, operations and marketing teams and deliver compelling content that is clear, concise, and differentiated. You are an exceptional product marketer, storyteller and strategist with excellent project management skills and ability to get things done.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product marketing experience with 7+ years in cybersecurity, ideally including network security and cloud.
  • Foundational understanding of the difference between security and network buyers.
  • Deep understanding of zero trust networking, network security, and relevant market trends, competitive landscape and customer requirements.
  • Ability to work in conjunction with Product Management to define and refine product roadmaps, with proven ability to translate technical features into customer benefits.
  • Outstanding technical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with creating and delivering presentations in a range of environments, from industry conferences to customer and industry analyst briefings.
  • Demonstrated record of working cross-functionally to drive sales, demand generation and overall organization and business success.
  • Experience and innovative energy to champion successful market and competitive disruption initiatives.
  • Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a compelling and differentiated value proposition that translates our solution’s vision and its technical concepts into related content to attract buyers and educate users.
  • Drive awareness by creating marketing assets like demo videos, blogs, emails, content, webinars, interactive content, and more.
  • Research and monitor the market and competitive landscape.
  • Provide insight to product teams to collaboratively drive product strategy and roadmap decisions.
  • Collaborate with communications, revenue marketing and demand generation teams to build awareness and generate leads.
  • Lead the product line’s cross-functional go to market initiatives.
  • Use market and competitive analysis to influence your GTM plans.
  • Work with product, sales and fellow product marketers to define buyer / user personas and how our network security solution solves their use cases.
  • Be comfortable speaking with sellers, customers, analysts and be able to present at industry conferences and events.
