About The Position

The Product Marketing Coordinator is an entry-level position in the Office of Engagement & Extension Marketing and Communications team. The coordinator position conducts market research in support of new program launches and supports development of marketing and communications plans for new product launches. This position may also execute on new program launch marketing and communications tactics across channels including story development for traditional print and online (including web, social and email) communications platforms, and reporting with guidance, direction and approvals from department managers and leaders. This position supports our overall department aims: to support development of quality programming that meets learner/community needs; to enable education access and expanded reach; to increase program awareness; to position and align OEE and CSU brands; to nurture relationships, partnerships and engagement with prospective learners; and to share stories of impact across Colorado and beyond. The office location for this position is in Fort Collins, Colorado. While this position is eligible for some hybrid work, the individual in this position is expected to maintain a presence in the office to effectively balance the duties of the position. The work schedule will vary, and occasional nights and weekend work and travel throughout the state of Colorado may be necessary.

Requirements

  • Completed bachelor's degree in Communication, English, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, business, or related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in Marketing and Communications work (experience may include student work experience).
  • Experience writing and editing copy.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Marketing and Communications channels.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills.
  • Must have a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain a driver's license or access to a licensed driver by the employment start date.
  • The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the proposed start date; OEE will not sponsor a visa for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of and experience with channel reporting tools and metrics, including Google Analytics and internal reporting tools to collect and analyze relevant data.
  • Understanding of and experience in market research.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of industry software.
