This is an engineering/ technical focused position acting as the primary point of contact for rack-level hardware as it moves from NPI to mass production and through to end of life. The successful applicant will be familiar with electronic verification (operating and embedded system verification) of hardware within a rack-level solution including L6 through L11 hardware. Pivotal knowledge and experience should include: * hardware products including GPU, CPU, memory, storage, NICs, rack power systems, and network switches. * product firmware/software that includes Linux, baseboard controllers and storage firmware. * General test system software/systems that cover test control, diagnostics, and data collection. * Familiarity with host operating systems and BMC embedded systems. Provide engineering technical support for a specific product or group of products after transfer from design to high volume production. Interface with design, process, mechanical, test, and reliability engineering teams to solve problems. You will work in a fast-paced, demanding, and dynamic environment as part of a core team responsible for rapidly deploying leading edge technology to our customers. Translate specifications into clearly defined test requirements. Work closely with test engineering teams to validate test plans. Support test implementation at various manufacturing sites. Detect, debug, and troubleshoot issues (hardware, firmware, test, operating and embedded system) as they arise. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of BOM structure. Manage all ECO cut-in/phase-in processes for the smooth integration of product changes. Proactively identify and report on quality trends and issues. Be able to speak truth to power by taking a position and backing it up with facts and observations gleaned from experience. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years relevant work experience. BS/BA preferred.
