About The Position

We're building the intelligent AI manager that transforms how home healthcare operates. Think of us as the nervous system for home care agencies—coordinating caregivers, managing schedules, and ensuring vulnerable populations get reliable, compassionate care around the clock. Our multi-agent platform doesn't just digitize existing processes; it creates an entirely new category of AI-powered healthcare operations. We're already helping agencies serve thousands of seniors aging at home, with technology that makes care more consistent, proactive, and human-centered. At Vali, product decisions must be grounded in real customer pain and real operational data. We’re looking for a Product Manager who is equally strong in customer discovery and analytical rigor — someone who can deeply understand our users, define what success looks like, and use trustworthy data to drive what we build next. You’ll own product strategy and execution across core workflows like scheduling automation, caregiver engagement, after-hours operations, time tracking, and shift finalization. You’ll shape the roadmap, define success metrics, explain what’s working (and what isn’t), and ensure we’re building the right things — for the right customers — at the right time. This is a high-ownership role with direct exposure to leadership, customers, and production data.

Requirements

  • Have shipped and owned products end-to-end: 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management, ideally in a startup or scale-up environment.
  • Are deeply customer-obsessed: You care about real workflows, real pain, and whether the product actually helps people do their jobs better.
  • Think clearly with data: You don’t just look at dashboards — you explain why numbers move and what to do next.
  • Are rigorous about metrics: You won’t ship a metric you wouldn’t personally bet on.
  • Are a strong communicator: You can turn ambiguity into clear direction and explain complex ideas simply.
  • Have strong product instincts: You know how to prioritize the highest-leverage problems and under-served jobs to be done.
  • Collaborate naturally: You enjoy working closely with engineering, design, ops, and customer teams.
  • Have a growth mindset: You learn fast, adapt quickly, and treat feedback as fuel.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong SQL skills and experience building dashboards in modern BI tools.
  • Experience with event-based analytics, funnels, cohorts, and time-window anchoring.
  • Comfort partnering with engineering on instrumentation, data modeling, and metric definition.
  • Experience with operational, marketplace, staffing, or scheduling-heavy products.

Responsibilities

  • Shape product strategy, goals, and ICP as we evolve toward stronger product–market fit.
  • Lead product discovery through customer interviews, workflow analysis, and data-informed hypothesis testing.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to define a clear Now / Next / Later roadmap aligned to a single strategic objective.
  • Establish and run a Customer Advisory Board to stay deeply connected to our ICP and top agencies.
  • Clearly articulate product rationale, tradeoffs, outcomes, and user impact across the company.
  • Own the analytics layer that supports product iteration, customer value tracking, and weekly business reviews.
  • Define trustworthy metrics with clear denominators, inclusion rules, and time windows — no fuzzy numbers.
  • Explain metric movement by surfacing top drivers, segments, and concrete examples (agency, shift, caregiver, offer).
  • Build drill-downs, exception lists, and targeted outputs (e.g. dormant caregivers, failed shifts) that enable fast action.
  • Partner with engineering to improve data quality, instrumentation, modeling, QA, and monitoring.
  • Partner closely with engineering, data, customer success, and marketing to ship high-impact features.
  • Define success metrics upfront and track outcomes post-launch.
  • Communicate progress through crisp one-pagers, dashboards, and short updates that connect effort to results.
  • Balance speed with quality — moving fast without sacrificing trust in decisions or data.

Benefits

  • IMPACT: Shape both the future of our product and the future of home care — with real social and operational impact.
  • GROWTH: Tackle hard problems that accelerate your development as a product leader.
  • COLLABORATION: Work side-by-side with experienced founders and operators.
  • CUTTING-EDGE TECH: Build at the frontier of AI-powered operations.
  • UPSIDE: Meaningful equity with the potential for exceptional returns.
