About The Position

The Glory Americas Retail Product Manager is responsible for aligning the North American team to ensure successful product launches, enhancements, and market execution for owned hardware and software solutions in the retail sector. Functional responsibilities include ensuring owned products meet the needs of the market, evangelizing the products to the market and internal audiences, and ensuring all go-to-market elements are in place and operating as needed. This role is accountable for achieving product line goals including revenue and profitability targets, customer value delivered, and scalable, efficient solution delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Product Management, Technical Solution Support, Software Product Development, Product Ownership, and/or Program Management
  • Excellent collaborative and problem-solving skills, ability to create and implement innovative solutions to problems.
  • Experience with IoT products and SaaS solutions.
  • Understanding of Agile development principles.
  • Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in time management to handle deadline pressures and multiple assignment and clients simultaneously.
  • Self-disciplined, self-starter, high motivated, strong ability to develop effective teams and be a significant contributing member through hands-on execution.
  • Ability to develop and communicate conceptual ideas including design rationale and business cases to all levels of the organization, from Board / C-Level to new first-job employees.
  • Ability to assess a situation with multiple viewpoints, identify priorities, create a plan, and execute on the plan which delivers on company objectives.
  • Must be process-focused. Must be able to take accountability for projects and issues and drive to completion or resolution (through direct ownership or cross-functional collaboration as appropriate).

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Expertise Research market needs and identify product opportunities.
  • Define product strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Serve as a subject‑matter expert for all product categories and North America requirements.
  • Provide analysis, quality inputs, and business process requirements.
  • Communicate risks, issues, and market insights to global stakeholders.
  • Assess competitive offerings to guide differentiation and sales strategy.
  • Solution Innovation Develop product positioning, value propositions, and business cases.
  • Manage product roadmaps, enhancements, defects, and launch plans.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams through product development and launch.
  • Communicate the economic justification for product changes and new releases.
  • Sales Readiness & Support Establish pricing, packaging, and product positioning.
  • Lead sales enablement and develop supporting tools and materials.
  • Partner with marketing on collateral and customer‑facing content.
  • Assist sales with opportunity qualification, RFPs, and customer requirements.
  • Deliver product demos and represent the company at industry events.
  • Ongoing Product Management Oversee full product lifecycle from concept through end‑of‑life.
  • Drive go‑to‑market execution and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor product performance and conduct win/loss and SWOT analyses.
  • Business Leadership & Project Management Improve product-related processes and lead strategic initiatives.
  • Manage project plans, timelines, teams, resources, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
