Dotdash Meredith is seeking a Product Manager II to enhance our transactional platform that serves over 200 million users monthly across more than 40 brands. This role involves collaborating with a cross-disciplinary scrum team to ensure users can find the best products that meet their needs within our portfolio of award-winning brands. The Product Manager will partner with senior leaders from various product categories, editorial teams, design and engineering teams, and other stakeholders to create a comprehensive product strategy that leverages our unique strengths, including evergreen and news/deals content, SEO expertise, data science, and effective monetization strategies. The focus will be on enhancing transactional platform capabilities, solving complex user problems, and recommending top-tier products and services with a strong emphasis on conversion. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the vision and purpose of the product, collaborating with other Product Managers and Technology Leaders, and engaging in discovery and negotiation with potential partners and vendors. You will analyze consumer flows to define product enhancements that boost brand engagement and attract advertisers. Effective communication will be key as you guide engineers and designers through product requirements, while also acting as a subject matter expert to assist transactional teams in utilizing and selling new products or features. You will celebrate the successes of your scrum team and ensure relevant communications are shared across the organization. Additionally, you will facilitate process definitions and business rules by partnering with internal teams involved in pre-sales, sales activation, and post-sales activities. Conducting consumer studies and analyzing advertising and sponsored product performance will also be part of your responsibilities.
