About The Position

We’re looking for a talented Product Manager to help deliver and evolve the Trading Product Platform—the technology that powers BetMGM’s sportsbook markets, pricing, and real-time risk management. In this role, you’ll turn product strategy into action. You’ll collaborate with Trading & Risk teams, Engineering, BI, and third-party providers to enhance our market creation, pricing, and internal risk tools. You’ll ensure our trading systems are accurate , scalable, and intuitive — helping traders work efficiently while improving the customer experience on our sportsbook products. You’ll work closely with senior product leaders to define priorities, write clear requirements, manage the backlog, and deliver features that directly impact the profitability and performance of our sportsbook. Your success will be measured by the reliability, accuracy, and efficiency of our trading platform - helping deliver fast, flexible, and competitive betting experiences to millions of customers. Requirements

  • 2+ years of product management experience, ideally in sportsbook, trading systems, data-driven platforms, or financial technology.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems , Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Understanding of sports betting principles, odds pricing, or sports modelling (or strong desire to learn quickly).
  • Experience creating and maintaining product roadmaps
  • Experience working with internal B2B or operational tools that support real-time decision making.
  • Experience creating & maintaining product roadmaps and prioritiz ing against strategic goals.
  • Highly analytical, with comfort using data and reporting tools to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the product development lifecycle, with a track record of delivering meaningful improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-paced, complex environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or MBA in a relevant field (preferred).
  • Prior experience with sports, casino, and/or gaming websites and mobile apps
  • Familiarity with pricing algorithms, betting exchanges, or automated trading systems.
  • Knowledge of U.S. sports and sportsbook market operations.
  • Product Management certifications and/or coursework.
  • Strong technical literacy—comfortable discussing APIs, data feeds, and integration workflows.
  • Demonstrated curiosity about trading, sports data, and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrating a strong interpersonal skill set – being able to communicate with team members effectively and emphatically at all levels within an organization
  • Innovative thinker who isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo and bring new ideas to the table.
  • Showing a true passion for this industry inclusive of sports, casinos, and entertainment

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of the Trading Product Platform roadmap, translating strategy into actionable requirements and delivery plans.
  • Collaborate closely with Trading & Risk, Engineering, and third-party vendors to ensure features meet operational and business needs.
  • Create, maintain , and prioritize the product backlog according to product strategy and trading priorities.
  • Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria; negotiate trade-offs with engineering and design teams.
  • Identify workflow and feature gaps within trading tools and propose data-driven improvements.
  • Partner with data and analytics teams to measure product performance, uptime, accuracy, and impact on trading KPIs.
  • Communicate requirements, user flows, and dependencies clearly across cross-functional teams.
  • Support the delivery of integrations, pricing logic enhancements, and market feed improvements.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market innovations, and emerging trading technologies.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Ensure smooth go-to-market coordination and post-launch analysis for new features.
  • Be accountable for delivering measurable impact from product investments.
