About The Position

Your Career Palo Alto Networks is hiring a visionary Product Manager to lead the development and global strategy for our Quantum-Safe Security application, delivering Cryptography Lifecycle Management, starting with Inventory and Readiness, leveraging the Strata Cloud Manager (SCM) platform. As organizations face the "Harvest Now, Decrypt Later" (HNDL) threat of quantum computers and the looming NIST 2030/2035 mandates, you will own the industry’s first "Closed-Loop" cryptographic resilience platform. You will transform our global network footprint—the largest in the world—into an intelligent sensor and enforcement engine that discovers cryptographic "Shadow Debt" and secures the digital future of the world's most critical enterprises and governments. This is a chance to have a profound impact, enabling our customers—from global enterprises to service providers—to deploy cutting-edge security features, including the latest innovations in threat prevention and Generative AI . If you're ready to tackle complex challenges and play a pivotal role in the world of cybersecurity, we invite you to apply.

Requirements

  • Big Data Platforms: Experience building SaaS applications that deliver great user experience on massive-scale logging and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, or SLS)
  • Classical Cryptography: SSL/TLS, IPsec, digital certificates (PKI), and algorithms such as RSA, ECC, and Diffie-Hellman.
  • Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC): Familiarity with NIST standards (ML-KEM, ML-DSA, SLH-DSA) and the computational overhead involved in hybrid key exchanges.
  • Network Infrastructure: Layer 7 inspection, App-ID, SSL Decryption, and next-generation firewall (NGFW) architectures.
  • Professional Background: 3+ years of Technical Architect or Product Management experience in Cybersecurity, specifically within Network Security, PKI, or Cloud Security.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bonus if you have a documented track record of launching and scaling enterprise-grade security products to significant ARR.
  • An MS or MBA from a top-tier institution is strongly preferred.
  • Category Creation: Ability to take a "0-to-1" concept and define a new market segment in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.
  • Executive Influence: Expertise in translating highly technical cryptographic concepts into "Business Risk" and "Financial Impact" for C-level executives.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Leading complex projects that span Engineering, Business Development (3rd-party connectors like Qualys/Splunk), and Field Teams.
  • Strategic Advisory: Acting as a subject matter expert in global standards bodies (NIST, NCCoE, CISA).

Responsibilities

  • Define Product Vision & Strategy: Establish the strategic vision for the "Crypto-Resilience Engine"—an intelligent core that continuously analyzes and prioritizes cryptographic risks across hybrid-cloud, IoT, and on-prem environments. You will define the multi-year roadmap for Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) migration, aligning with global standards like NSM-10 and CNSA 2.0.
  • Lead Roadmap Execution: Drive the end-to-end development and communication of the product roadmap to Federal agencies, global banking institutions, and internal stakeholders. You will prioritize the "Visibility Journey" for four core asset classes: Applications, Users, Infrastructure, and IoT devices.
  • Innovate Core Technologies: Manage the development of "First-in-Class" features, including the Cipher Translation Proxy (a "Virtual Patch" for legacy systems), AI-Powered Prioritization for "Crown Jewel" assets, and AI Canvas Visualizations for real-time executive reporting.
  • Drive Strategic Growth: Champion the future of cryptographic agility, transforming Palo Alto Networks from a security component provider into the end-to-end manager of a customer's entire cryptography lifecycle.
  • Collaborate on GTM: Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and our Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) teams to build custom integrations for complex environments (Mainframes, Proprietary OT) and scale the subscription.
  • Analyze Performance: Monitor and leverage product telemetry from the Strata Logging Service (SLS) to quantify risk reduction and prove the ROI of the PQC transition to board-level stakeholders.
