About The Position

As a Product Manager - License Sales & Management located in Urbandale, IA, you will be responsible for defining and delivering products, services, and systems that meet customer and dealer needs by selecting the best possible approach. You will bring deep customer, dealer, and business process understanding to your partnership with engineering, customer support, marketing, etc. as you define and prioritize solutions. Your role will involve analyzing specific problems and issues to find the best solutions, which could be technical or professional in nature, and validating that solution requirements meet customer (internal and external) needs. You will define product direction to guide the development work of 1-2 scrum team(s), focusing on products such as the License tool in Operations Center where dealers and customers manage licensed technology products.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of systems and tools used to enable commerce with dealers and customers.
  • Understanding of basic accounting concepts, such as revenue recognition.
  • Understanding of policies, regulations, and legal frameworks associated with data collection, storage, and use.
  • Prior product management experience with technology-based products.
  • Experience in product marketing, ECAP, product management, project management, or similar.
  • Understanding of agile development processes and methodologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on persuasive communication, tact, and negotiation.
  • Ability to analyze, define, and lead discussions to determine business requirements and technical solutions.
  • Action-oriented with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Knowledge of precision technologies, products, and solutions, along with sales and support strategies.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of go to market strategies including licensing advanced software for precision technologies.
  • Knowledge/experience with StellarSupport™ or subscriptions or software as a service systems.
  • Knowledge/experience with Operations Center or Dealer Business System Technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities and solve problems.
