About The Position

Join Agilent's high-growth Services Division. Agilent is seeking a talented product manager to join our product development team for our Laboratory Operations software. This is a fantastic opportunity to design integrated software, analytics, and services to create a differentiated solution for our customers. The ideal candidate is passionate about driving customer outcomes across risk reduction, maintenance optimization, productivity improvement, and budget optimization. Digital Services and Software are a growing part of our commitment to develop the products and services that deliver better outcomes for our customers. The candidate will creatively weave the following themes into a breakthrough solution: Fleet inventory and tracking for lab-wide, multi-vendor assets; Asset Lifecycle from onboarding to maintenance, to refresh; Asset utilization, maintenance, and productivity optimization. We are looking for talented individuals to drive the following: Market opportunity assessment, segmentation, and strategic positioning; Define the product and services strategy and roadmap; Define the scalability strategy to serve all Agilent Service customers. The successful candidate will have demonstrated success creating SaaS software strategies, products, and taking them successfully to market. Business acumen, leadership, collaboration, influence, communication skills, and an exceptional work ethic are essential traits for success in this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or equivalent
  • 4+ years experience as a Product Manager, ideally in a software or laboratory services-related field
  • Experience at a scientific, analytical instrument or technology company preferred
  • Experience with Financial Data Modeling such as; new business models and forecasting
  • Experience with SaaS and recurring revenue models is highly desired
  • Demonstrated product management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to translate customer feedback into simple value models, and product strategy and requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategy, plans, and organizational alignment
  • Demonstrated change leader, and influencer, with strong customer orientation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with international teams

Responsibilities

  • Product Manager for lab operations software
  • Owns voice-of-customer, segmentation, competitive benchmarking, and product position strategy
  • Owns the go-to-customer, and customer success strategy
  • Accountable for the successful execution of new product ramp goals
  • Work closely with internal business partners to ensure that process rigor is met
