About The Position

As a Boats Group Product Manager Intern , you will play a hands-on role in shaping the future of the Boat Trader Private Seller Marketplace. You’ll work alongside experienced product managers, designers, and engineers to enhance how private sellers list, manage, and sell their boats — with a focus on improving trust, increasing lead generation, and driving revenue conversion. Over the summer, you'll work on meaningful projects, tackle daily product challenges, and collaborate closely with our cross-functional team to deliver value to our customers and business.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university as a junior or senior.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Curiosity and a passion for building great user experiences and digital marketplaces.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Self-starter attitude, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • To guarantee a seamless and enriching experience, candidates must be based in Miami, FL. (Relocation not accepted.)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Figma, or similar) is a plus.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, agile environment where priorities can evolve.
  • Enthusiasm for boating, marketplaces, or e-commerce is a bonus!

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in defining product requirements and success metrics for seller and buyer-facing features.
  • Conducting data analysis and research to support key product decisions.
  • Monitoring KPIs and marketplace health metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting UX research and usability testing to ensure product solutions meet user needs.
  • Communicating findings and recommendations through presentations and written summaries.
  • Participating in agile ceremonies and helping manage sprint deliverables and priorities.
