About The Position

At ARUP Laboratories, we are seeking an experienced software Product Manager to help shape the future of ARUP Laboratory’s public‑facing digital products used by laboratory personnel, physicians, medical staff, and researchers. This role is responsible for product prioritization and planning across the full product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing customer and business requirements, defining product vision and outcomes, and working closely with engineering, UX, analytics, sales, marketing, and support teams to deliver high‑quality, compliant solutions. The Product Manager ensures products align with ARUP’s strategy, regulatory obligations, and commitment to patient care. This includes evaluating and, where appropriate, incorporating emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence when they provide clear, responsible value to customer‑facing or internal workflows. A strong customer‑first mindset is required. The Product Manager uses customer research, direct feedback, and data from analytics and operational sources to understand user needs and translate them into prioritized, high‑impact product capabilities. Responsibilities

Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
Define the product strategy and roadmap
Maintain a product backlog of prioritized features and corresponding justification
Being an expert with respect to the competition
Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
Drive product launches including working with marketing, executives, and other product management team members
Perform product demos to customers as requested
Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
Other duties as assigned
