About The Position

The Product Manager II - International Payroll Integrations at Paylocity is responsible for enhancing the company's cloud-based HR and payroll software solutions by focusing on integrations with global partners. This role requires technical expertise in file-based integrations and strong collaboration with engineering teams and external partners to improve existing integrations and develop new ones, ensuring alignment with product and customer goals.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in product management, ideally with a focus on integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with file-based integrations and writing technical requirements.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with engineering teams and successfully work with non-native English speakers and diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present ideas and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Capable of balancing short-term execution with long-term strategic planning.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HCM software is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the execution of integration improvements and the development of new file-based integrations with global partners.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical requirements are well-documented and solutions are delivered on time.
  • Build strong working relationships with international partners, ensuring alignment and clear communication across time zones and cultures.
  • Gain a deep understanding of our customers, competition, and the global payroll landscape.
  • Actively participate in product discovery sessions, gathering feedback to validate and refine integration solutions.
  • Prioritize the product backlog, breaking down complex functionality into epics and user stories.
  • Present product updates and progress to internal stakeholders, including leadership teams.
  • Monitor post-launch performance of integrations, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Advocate for a seamless user experience by incorporating both quantitative and qualitative data into decision-making.
