About The Position

You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users. The Trust and Safety Team works to keep the platform secure. The team leverages technology, including AI and Machine Learning, alongside policies and partnerships to identify and mitigate risks. As the Product Manager, you will lead the safety strategy for YouTube's next generation of interactive features. You will be responsible for defining and building the protections that allow our community to connect and engage with confidence. This involves cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, policy and operations teams to embed safety-by-design principles from the ground up. Your work will focus on developing AI-powered systems to detect and prevent issues, setting a new standard for user protection in dynamic digital spaces. Requirements

  • Experience in product management or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams.
  • Experience with AI and Machine Learning technologies.
  • Understanding of user safety and digital protection principles.
