Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience improving product metrics for a product, feature, or experience in a market (e.g., growing customer base, expanding customer usage, avoiding customer churn).
  • 2+ years experience disrupting a market for a product, feature, or experience (e.g., competitive disruption, taking the place of an established competing product).
  • 4+ years in technical product management, technical program management, or related technical roles.
  • 2+ year experience with hyperscale cloud storage technologies, distributed systems, or enterprise customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Research customer and partner scenarios, gather insights into industry trends, listen and understand customer requirements, and translate them into viable product roadmaps, strategies, and motions.
  • Drive end to end product development including new ideas, user experience, go to market plan, and growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams – including engineering, operations, business, marketing, and support – to deliver high-impact features on time and within budget.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define, collect, analyze, and interpret metrics to validate product hypotheses, measure success, and iterate quickly.
  • Ensure all solutions meet Microsoft’s security, privacy, and accessibility standards.
