Advantech is seeking a Product Manager level I or II who will be responsible for managing the development and lifecycle of server hardware products. They will conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats in the server market, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure product alignment with business objectives. The Product Manager will gather and prioritize customer requirements to guide product development and manage product lifecycles from conception to end-of-life, ensuring timely delivery and quality. They will also create and present product proposals, business cases, and go-to-market plans to stakeholders.

  • Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for server hardware, including motherboards, add-ons for servers and network cards.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats of server market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure product alignment with business objectives.
  • Gather and prioritize customer requirements to guide product development.
  • Manage product lifecycles from conception to end-of-life, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
  • Create and present product proposals, business cases, and go-to-market plans to stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (preferred).
  • 2–5+ years of experience in product management, project management, or product engineering within the PC industry or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of x86/RISC platforms and PC architecture.
  • Extensive experience with server hardware, including chassis, server motherboards, network cards, RAID controllers, and other add-ons.
  • Familiarity with the server market and broader ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of server hardware architecture, networking concepts, and industry standards.
  • Proven track record of managing product lifecycles and successfully bringing products to market.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to take initiative and execute tasks effectively.
