About The Position

The FAIR (Fulfillment, Availability, Inventory & Reservations) team at Best Buy is responsible for delivering accurate, reliable product fulfillment information to millions of customers every day. This team plays a critical role in ensuring customers can trust the availability and fulfillment experiences they encounter across Best Buy’s digital and operational touchpoints. As a Product Manager, you will connect customer needs, data insights, and business priorities to drive clear, measurable product outcomes. You bring strong technical acumen and are comfortable partnering deeply with engineering teams—understanding APIs, data flows, and system architecture well enough to shape effective solutions. Operating as a self-starter, you proactively identify opportunities, drive initiatives forward with minimal oversight, and remain focused on delivering outcomes aligned with strategic goals and customer trust. This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days on site at a Best Buy location and some days virtually at home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

Requirements

  • 2 or more years of experience in product management
  • 1 year relevant experience in strategy creation, customer focused solutioning, cross-functional leadership

Nice To Haves

  • 4 or more years of experience in product management or business systems analysis roles
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing, Communications or Related

Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy and outcomes by setting clear, well-structured OKRs aligned to customer needs and business priorities, and translating them into actionable plans.
  • Lead problem-first product development, prioritizing user and customer value, framing ambiguous problems, identifying key assumptions, and iterating through collaboration with design, engineering, analytics, and operations.
  • Translate outcomes into execution by using OKRs to inform sprint goals, proactively managing and prioritizing backlogs, and building roadmaps based on sequences of problems rather than feature delivery.
  • Apply modern product discovery and delivery practices, including agile methodologies, experimentation, assumption validation, and analytics, to continuously learn, adapt, and track delivered value.
  • Leverage data and insights to guide decisions, synthesizing user research, business strategy, market trends, and performance data to make informed, defensible product choices.
  • Partner deeply with engineering by incorporating an understanding of scalability, system architecture, APIs, and technical tradeoffs—balancing near-term outcomes with long-term platform health and tech debt reduction.
  • Drive alignment and momentum across teams, inspiring action through clear communication, inclusive decision-making, and strong cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage products through their lifecycle, building stakeholder buy-in, navigating tradeoffs, and ensuring sustained value as customer needs and business priorities evolve.
