This job is a U.S. based HYBRID position and requires a minimum of 4 days onsite at the Dearborn MI office. Visa sponsorship is NOT available for this position. In this position... You will be part of a Global IT Team that is based across, NA, UK, Germany and India. The Product Managers work with the Capability Delivery Team leads to ensure that business value is understood and prioritised across the PDO. E&SC is part of ISIST (Industrial Systems IT) and the office space will be the Ford Campus in Chennai. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for leading the product management relating to development of Sustainability Capability Platforms and global alignment. ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) is a growing area of regulation that requires an Enterprise view and set of capabilities that can work through a complex cross-skill team data model and deliver a Product Strategy and Roadmap that is fit for the future. In addition, you will be expected to manage existing capabilities that support the EQO (Environmental Quality Office) that deals with aspects of such topics as VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), Water Management etc. Overall, this will require the candidate to be able to think out of the box along with being able to balance against industry standard models to create the right solutions for the company whilst enabling complex skill team interactions to bring together a Solved Together view. They will be required to work with EA and business functions to get the global alignment across all functions, as well as developing the data roadmap to leverage EDP. They will be expected to also partner on other products to ensure there is an understanding of how various processes are creating a requirement for greater Connected Compliance. The candidate should be able to communicate and be comfortable working with remote Product Owners that will be based in North America and Europe. Environmental and Safety Compliance is responsible for ensuring the Company meets its regulatory and certification requirements across the end-to-end lifecycle for the company. It starts at the beginning of regulation identification and ensure that these requirements are not inly put into vehicle programs but also other aspects of te business including such areas as environmental quality and sustainability. An important aspect for the Company is the vehicle regulations, especially in the Design phase to ensure that these are incorporated and engineering into our vehicles correctly.

Responsibilities

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Develop, articulate, and champion a compelling long-term product vision and strategy based on in-depth market analysis, customer research, and competitive intelligence.
  • Market Leadership: Serve as the internal expert on our market, customers, and competitors. Identify and analyse market trends to uncover new opportunities and threats.
  • Strategic Roadmap: Own and manage the high-level product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives and features that deliver maximum value to our customers and drive key business outcomes ensuring alignment to future regulation, potentially 5+ years ahead.
  • Product Planning & Development: Create and present data-driven business cases for new product initiatives, securing buy-in from executive leadership and key stakeholders across the organization, whilst ensuring Risks & Issues are managed.
  • Go-to-Market Collaboration: Partner closely with customer teams to define and execute effective go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful product launches and adoption through Agile practices.
  • Performance Analysis: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product, using this data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the central communication hub for the product, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on the product's direction and progress through communications and governance.
