About The Position

The Product Manager for Digital Solutions at Emerson will lead the Measurement Systems and Services (MSS) Digital Solutions product portfolio. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, developing marketing strategies, and driving product innovation in industrial software and digital solutions. The position requires collaboration with sales teams and other business units to ensure effective promotion and development of products that meet market demands.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of product management experience in industrial software or digital solutions.
• Demonstrated understanding of AI/ML applications in industrial settings.
• Experience with cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
• Strong technical competence and ability to translate complex concepts for various audiences.
• Understanding of Industrial AI/ML applications, cloud computing platforms, IEC 62443, data analytics, and DevSecOps practices.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with metrology systems or flow measurement.
• Knowledge of industrial automation and IIoT platforms.
• Background in developing AI/ML-powered products.
• Understanding of OT security requirements and standards.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Set marketing strategies through continuous assessment of customer value levers and market analysis.
• Serve the MSS sales channel as a primary customer and maintain close contact with the global sales organization.
• Maintain and ensure access to internal and external collateral such as brochures and presentations.
• Align marketing and product management strategies for MSS Digital Solutions with other business units.
• Lead the new product development process to address customer and market needs.
• Perform market analysis to identify new business opportunities and recommend improvements in business strategies.
• Contribute to regular reporting initiatives such as the MSS Strategic Plan and Board Meetings.
• Coordinate MSS involvement in trade shows and prepare materials for impactful presentations.
• Lead AI/ML product innovation and deployment in relevant platforms.
• Oversee cybersecurity engagements in MSS, ensuring compliance with IEC 62443 standards.
