The Product Manager, Digital Orthopedic Trauma Solutions at Johnson & Johnson, specifically within the DePuy Synthes Orthopaedics business, is a pivotal role focused on advancing digital innovation. This position is based in West Chester, PA, and is part of the VELYS™ Enabling Tech portfolio, which develops software and data-driven capabilities to enhance surgical decision-making, improve workflows, and create new value across the episode of care. The role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of digital innovation, take ownership of a high-impact product area, influence product management practices, and contribute to building a modern product organization within a global orthopaedics leader. The Product Manager will be responsible for the strategy, discovery, development, and continuous improvement of digital capabilities within the VELYS™ Trauma portfolio. This includes defining problems, driving solution development in partnership with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that delivered capabilities achieve meaningful clinical and business outcomes. This role signifies a transition from a traditional launch-focused device model to a digital product operating model centered on continuous discovery, iteration, and outcome ownership. While initially collaborating with Global Strategic Marketing (GSM) teams on upstream strategy and launch readiness, the Product Manager is expected to assume primary ownership of product thinking, including problem definition, prioritization, and post-launch learning. The position entails end-to-end ownership of a defined digital capability within the VELYS™ Trauma portfolio, encompassing its strategic direction, growth, and performance over time. It is noted that Johnson & Johnson plans to separate its Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone company, DePuy Synthes, within 18 to 24 months, and the employee would transition to DePuy Synthes upon completion of this transaction.
