About The Position

We are looking for an outstanding Product Manager experienced working with developer products and technologies and comfortable evolving to the rapidly changing development landscape in the age of AI. At MongoDB, this PM will become a developer experience expert, understand the areas where we can help our community of developers and our customers, and drive our developer tools strategy accordingly. In this role, you will be on the ground with developers at all stages of their app-building journey: from designing and prototyping greenfield applications to maintaining enterprise-grade applications. You will drive solutions to enable rapid development with MongoDB while ensuring developers are making the best possible design decisions for their applications. You will also evolve our developer tools suite to meet the needs of AI- and agentic-driven development–whether that is enhancing our existing developer tools like MongoDB Compass with first-party AI experiences, leveraging MongoDB’s MCP server, or exploring new AI technologies that unlock new ways of working with MongoDB. This position requires a driven self-starter who can work easily across teams, is passionate about helping customers succeed, and enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging environment. This role must be based out of New York City, in-person or flex. The team is a highly collaborative group of Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, Product Analysts, and Product Marketers all working together to make the experience of working with data easy and enjoyable for developers. It is a distributed team stretching from offices in Berlin and NYC to other locations in Europe and the US, with occasional in-office meetings for project kickoffs, workshops, and other team events. MongoDB is built for change, empowering our customers and our people to innovate at the speed of the market. We have redefined the database for the AI era, enabling innovators to create, transform, and disrupt industries with software. MongoDB’s unified database platform, the most widely available, globally distributed database on the market, helps organizations modernize legacy workloads, embrace innovation, and unleash AI. Our cloud-native platform, MongoDB Atlas, is the only globally distributed, multi-cloud database and is available across AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure. With offices worldwide and over 60,000 customers, including 75% of the Fortune 100 and AI-native startups, relying on MongoDB for their most important applications, we’re powering the next era of software. To drive the personal growth and business impact of our employees, we’re committed to developing a supportive and enriching culture for everyone. From employee affinity groups, to fertility assistance and a generous parental leave policy, we value our employees’ wellbeing and want to support them along every step of their professional and personal journeys.
