About The Position

As a Product Manager in Chemistry, you will lead the development of innovative software solutions that accelerate small molecule research and development. You will partner with cross-functional teams—including scientists, engineers, designers, and go-to-market professionals—to translate complex scientific workflows into intuitive, scalable tools. This role offers the opportunity to influence the strategy, roadmap, and execution of cutting-edge products that integrate AI and data to enhance research productivity. Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in scientific or technical domains.
  • Academic or professional background in science; chemistry experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of small molecule R&D or strong interest in learning quickly.
  • Proven ability to drive 0→1 product development in enterprise SaaS environments.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator in cross-functional, fast-paced settings.
  • Experience at the intersection of life sciences, data, and AI (cheminformatics, predictive modeling, LLM-assisted workflows) is a plus.
  • Empathy and ability to bridge gaps between scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for small molecule R&D solutions, spanning early discovery to development.
  • Collaborate with scientists and field teams to understand workflows and pain points, incorporating insights into product design.
  • Translate scientific and technical requirements into user-friendly, scalable software capabilities integrated across the platform.
  • Partner with engineering, design, and data teams to deliver high-quality products on schedule and with measurable impact.
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance decision-making and productivity for chemists.
  • Communicate priorities, trade-offs, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders, ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Represent the small molecule domain internally and externally, influencing the direction of multi-modal R&D solutions.
