Summary: The XPEL Automotive Window Film Product Manager position is critical to the growth, expansion, and profitability of XPEL’s window film brands and products. This individual will manage the assigned product portfolio(s), including automotive tints and solar control films, and help drive our market strategy—managing the proper introduction of new products to the market, the improvement of our existing product portfolio based on customer feedback and technological advancements, as well as the phase-out of products. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field).
Five years of relevant experience in Product Management, Product Development, or Project/Program Management or Sales/Training, preferably with professionally installed automotive products like window films or protective coatings.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills, particularly the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and balance multiple projects and prioritize backlogs.
Proven track record of influencing global stakeholders and gaining alignment on product vision.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strict time constraints.
Proficient in MS Suite of products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); experience with product management tools like Jira, Aha!, or similar preferred.
Strong analytical and presentation skills.
Outstanding organizational and follow-up skills.
Knowledge of automotive window film technologies, regulatory compliance (e.g., tint laws), and B2B sales channels highly preferred.
Willingness to travel up to 20% for market research, trade shows, and partner meetings.

Responsibilities

Develop, own, and execute product roadmap; communicate updates, achievements, and challenges to the leadership team.
Perform pricing and competitive analysis through customer and sales channels, and recommend strategies to improve market position, quality, and costs.
Manage the whole product lifecycle from conception to end-of-life.
Identify new market expansion opportunities, collaborate with R&D, and develop unique product offerings within existing and new automotive markets.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the automotive window film market, including “near neighbor” markets (e.g., architectural films, aftermarket accessories), from a user and business perspective.
Develop and maintain product database with specifications (e.g., VLT, UV rejection rates), warranties, and other key documentation.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, such as state vehicle tint laws and IWFA standards, in product development and marketing.
Conduct market research on window film trends, customer needs (e.g., heat reduction, privacy), and competitor technologies to inform decisions.
Collaborate with sales, dealer networks, and installation teams to support product training, launches, and feedback loops.
