About The Position

The Product Manager for Forge Analysis & Simulation will lead the development of tooling and workflows that enable rapid, actionable insights from large-scale, high-frequency robotics and autonomy test data. This role will define and drive product strategy for simulation tooling (SIL/HIL/ViL), synthetic data generation, and autonomous performance analysis products that empower engineering teams to validate, iterate, and improve autonomy behaviors. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to turn complex technical needs into scalable analysis frameworks, intuitive visualizations, and robust evaluation ecosystems that support both open and closed-loop workflows. The ideal candidate has deep experience in autonomy development, simulation frameworks, and data analysis at scale, with a passion for empowering developers and test engineers.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 9 years and a Master’s degree; or 7 years with a PhD; or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years experience in product management, analysis tooling, or autonomy tooling roles with demonstrated technical depth.
  • 2+ years experience in a software development role
  • Experience with large-scale, high-frequency data analysis and building or prioritizing tooling used by engineers to process, query, and interpret data at scale.
  • Strong understanding or experience with autonomy and robotics development workflows including ML/RL behavior development, MLOps, and requirements traceability.
  • Hands-on familiarity or strong working knowledge of SIL/HIL/VIL simulation frameworks, related 2D/3D visualization tooling, or autonomy performance evaluation ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to conduct user research, synthesize findings, and translate them into actionable product requirements and roadmaps.
  • Expert at using Generative-AI-based tooling to iterate on prototypes and generate briefs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional engineering teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in military tech, aerospace, autonomy tooling, or defense avionics/robotics domains.
  • Strong engineering or technical background (BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, EE, or related).
  • Experience working with teams building or integrating simulation engines, synthetic data pipelines, or custom data analytics platforms.
  • Prior work experience at companies focused on simulation, autonomy analysis, or large-scale telemetry tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product roadmap for Forge Analysis & Simulation, including simulation tooling, synthetic data pipelines, and high-rate data analytics.
  • Collaborate with autonomy engineers, simulation leads, and data scientists to build tooling that supports SIL, HIL, ViL, performance evaluation, and large-scale data analysis.
  • Drive user research and discovery with engineering and test stakeholders, capturing pain points and converting them into actionable technical plans and prioritized backlogs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, QA, platform) to deliver new capabilities that improve developer efficiency and visibility into autonomy performance.
  • Track and analyze usage, performance, and quality metrics for Forge Analysis & Simulation features, and use these insights to refine scope and roadmap priorities.
