About the Team Workday is building a broad portfolio of AI agents and AI-powered products across HR, Finance, Planning, Contracts, Payroll, Talent, and employee experiences. AI Activation defines how these AI agents are activated in technical pre-sales, how they are positioned, demoed, evaluated, and communicated by Solutions Consulting, Solutions Architecture, and Enterprise Architecture teams. This role works closely with AI Product Managers and Outbound Product Managers to understand product capabilities, limitations, and direction, then translates that insight into clear, repeatable pre-sales approaches that help customers understand value and help Workday win business. About the Role As a Product Manager, you will work closely with AI Product Managers to understand product capabilities and translate those insights into repeatable pre-sales approaches that help Workday win business. You will play a critical role in ensuring AI agents are deployed securely and effectively.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, defining, launching, and iterating on impactful SaaS or cloud-based enterprise software products.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Business, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of security frameworks, data access controls, and cloud-based architectures.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Strong skills in effectively working with and influencing Engineering, Design, and Marketing leadership.
  • Customer Advocacy: Proven ability to deeply understand and represent customer needs—especially regarding data security—in product strategy.
  • Data Analysis: Solid skills in deriving actionable insights for product strategy and measuring success.
  • Strategic Thinking: Developing skills to contribute to the long-term vision of the product portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-Sales Activation: Define the strategy for activating AI agents and AI products in pre-sales.
  • Security & Data Access: Define and document the security configurations and data access requirements necessary for safe AI agent deployment.
  • Demo & POC Strategy: Shape how AI demos and proofs-of-concept are approached in pre-sales. Partner with Solutions Consulting on demo readiness and quality.
  • Feedback & Insight: Maintain a deep understanding of AI agent capabilities and translate field experience into structured feedback for Product teams.
  • Technical Narrative: Define how AI agents should be explained in technical pre-sales conversations, clarifying differentiation, value, and known limitations.
  • CX Guidance: Provide CX with packaged material for each agent, allowing them to analyze data, handle objections, and drive adoption
