About The Position

The Product Management Senior Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for the development of product plans, strategies and tactics in coordination with the Lending Product team. The overall objective of this role is to develop strategies for adequate capital allocation for Commercial Banking clients.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in the financial sector and/or Lending Products.
  • Knowledge of marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, and/or analytics.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage and interpret the data to tell the story.
  • Critical thinking and Strategic mindset, with ability to foresee future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough strategies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Salesforce, SQL).
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and coordinate the strategy for adequate capital allocation and optimization, product pricing and returns.
  • Assist in development and analysis of strategic capital management initiatives for the lending product.
  • Develop profitable strategies and coordinate the conceptualization and implementation of key growth initiatives, leveraging current market intelligence on the overall industry verticals and competitors.
  • Participate in day-to-day product management for core lending products such as product delivery, client experience, and communication strategies.
  • Help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results.
  • Execute product-related client value propositions from the returns perspective, positioning, segmentation, targeting and competitive differentiation.
  • Create Product content, marketing and training tools for Coverage teams.
  • Implement clear processes and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure the execution against strategy for product sales teams.
  • Leverage client feedback, market data, and macroeconomic patterns to improve returns and capital allocation.
  • Ensure that strategies comply with all applicable regulations and internal risk frameworks.
  • Provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to new team members.
  • Contribute to achievement of targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals.
  • Oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps in business plans.
  • Implement team procedures, client problem resolution, and client management.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.
