MARKET DEVELOPMENT INTERN Job Description: The Product Management / Marketing Intern will support the Product Management and Marketing teams in driving product strategy, market analysis, and go-to-market initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in product lifecycle management, market research, and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced business environment. THIS 10-WEEK INTERNSHIP OFFERS CANDIDATES THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK FROM EITHER OUR ROSEMONT, IL OR ATLANTA, GA OFFICE.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both customers and internal teams
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; able to work independently and manage priorities effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, with a willingness to learn CRM systems
  • Attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI tools and Canva is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the Product Director in executing key initiatives for the Tea and Functional Ingredients portfolio , including identifying customer growth opportunities and target markets.
  • Assist with onboarding new supplier products, including SKU setup, documentation, and coordination across internal teams.
  • Conduct market research using tools such as SPINS, Innova Market Insights, and industry publications to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Analyze customer and portfolio data to uncover potential new applications and commercial growth opportunities.
  • Help structure and organize Batory’s ingredient portfolio into solution-based frameworks across key categories such as beverages, bars, bakery, and confectionery.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Business Development, and Product Management teams to support cross-functional initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of ingredient insights, product narratives, and internal resources that drive commercial success.
