About The Position

Fontaine Spray Suppression Company, part of the global industrial organization Marmon Holdings and backed by Berkshire Hathaway, is seeking a Product Management/Marketing Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work with the Marketing team on various projects, reporting directly to the OEM & OES Strategic Accounts Manager while gaining exposure to broader business teams. Interns will complete a capstone project over the summer, culminating in a presentation to business leadership. The internship will run for 12 weeks from May to August, with exact dates flexible based on school schedules.

Requirements

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• Rising junior or senior.
• Strong interest in applying product management and marketing knowledge to practical problems.
• Ability to comply with deadlines.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Interest in technology and process improvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• No previous experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic assessment work including uncovering and assessing customer needs and trends.
• Explore market trends, especially technology advancements.
• Conduct competitive analysis including pricing, features, and benefits.
• Assess company core competencies and gaps.
• Support Voice of Customer (VOC) events.
• Summarize key issues and opportunities from research and assessment work.
• Engage in product lifecycle management exercises.
• Support new product development projects.
• Assist in commercializing a new product.
• Support campaign development and communications planning efforts.
• Assist with digital marketing efforts.
• Support trade shows and customer event planning.
