We are seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial Product Management Intern to support our dynamic product team. This individual will serve as a key resource for the entire team, playing a crucial role in supporting the product lifecycle from concept to launch, contributing to key strategic initiatives, and helping to shape the future of digital banking for our clients. This role is designed to act as a force multiplier for the entire product team, accelerating key initiatives and increasing our strategic capacity. You will have the opportunity to build foundational skills key to success in future product roles as well as join a bank on the forefront of responsibly utilizing AI in financial services. Requirements

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, CS, STEM, Communications, Design), OR you have 2-5 years of experience working in software engineering, operations, project management, UX/product design, customer success, etc. and are looking to break into a product career.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with deep attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to analyze information and articulate the trade-offs of proposed solutions.
  • A motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a deep interest in financial services, Fintech, and technology.
  • Strong interpersonal and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with data (or an appetite to learn) and exposure to business intelligence (BI) platforms (e.g. Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
  • Experience with AI coding and prototyping tools is a plus (e.g. Claude Code, Antigravity, Lovable, etc).

Responsibilities

  • Roadmap & Backlog Grooming: Help maintain a comprehensive view of our partner roadmaps and active requests, working with partners across Grasshopper (partnerships, data, and project teams).
  • UAT & Quality Assurance: Act as a key partner in testing new features and documenting bugs to ensure high-quality product releases.
  • Product Documentation: Write and maintain strong documentation for internal users, client services, and our clients.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis: Partner with the product and data teams to report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and assist with monthly management reporting.
  • Go-to-Market Support: Partner with Marketing to plan and record product demos, create content, and maintain product-related marketing documentation.
  • Customer Insights: Assist the product team in identifying, scheduling, and synthesizing notes from customer interviews to enable a continuous feedback loop with our clients.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct regular research on competitor products and market trends to identify gaps and strategic opportunities.
  • Strategic Focus Support: Handle foundational research, initial feedback triage (e.g., NPS), and partner roadmap tracking (e.g., Narmi, MANTL) to free up Product Managers to focus on complex problem-solving.
