Product Management Intern - Summer 2026
About The Position
Uber Freight connects shippers with truckers, much like how Uber connects riders and drivers. We are a team of sharp, entrepreneurial individuals who are redefining the movement of goods around the world. At Uber Freight, we believe that technology can bring more harmonious, efficient, and safer logistics to our roads. We’re looking for a Product Manager Intern to join our team for Summer 2026. This internship is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge transportation management system (TMS) technologies, including AI-powered solutions that drive real customer and business impact. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and gain hands-on experience in product development, strategy, and execution.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Design, or a related field.
- Expected graduation in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Passion for technology, logistics, and building customer-centric products.
- Familiarity with product development concepts and tools (e.g., wireframing, user research, data analysis).
Nice To Haves
- Experience or coursework in product management, UX design, or data analysis.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts or technologies.
- Interest in freight, supply chain, or logistics.
- Self-starter with a bias toward action and a desire to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Learn and internalize Uber Freight’s mission, product strategy, and customer needs.
- Assist in defining product requirements and contributing to the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Operations to help deliver impactful product features.
- Conduct user research, analyze data, and synthesize insights to inform product decisions.
- Help monitor product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in team meetings, brainstorms, and reviews to gain exposure to the full product development lifecycle.
