The position at FIRST RF Corporation involves supporting the Market Segment Lead to achieve strategic objectives, leading and supporting development and production opportunities within the Product Line, and reviewing and directing programs/products. The role includes creating roadmaps for key technologies, identifying business cases for investments, orchestrating product transition plans, and supporting production.   • Supports Market Segment Lead to accomplish strategic objectives
  • Finds, leads, and/or supports development and/or production opportunities in the Product Line
  • Reviews and gives direction to programs/products within Product Line
  • Creates roadmaps for key technology or products within Product Line
  • Identifies and communicates the business case for key investments in technology development, product development, or infrastructure
  • Orchestrates product transition plans, including internal/external funding strategies, defining market opportunities, and forecasting development & product sales
  • Supports production of products in Product Line
  • Responds to customer inquiries and assists or leads technical RFPs
  • Compiles proposals, quotes, and ROMs in Product Line for review by MSL
  • Identifies and cultivates future FIRST RF leaders
  • Recommends and supports project leads for programs in Product Line
  • Establishes and maintains customer relationships
  • Contributes to and reviews status reports, presentations, demonstrations, and customer deliverables
  • Must have US citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (master’s degree preferred) or equivalent
  • Experience with RF sensors and devices such as antennas, arrays, hybrids, terminations, amplifiers, limiters, and attenuators
  • Design of antenna and electronics packaging and material selection and implementation for high temperature / high shock / high vibration conditions
  • Design and testing of hardware to aerothermal, shock, and vibration conditions
  • Knowledge and understanding of various manufacturing methods and processes for RF sensors
  • Proficiency in mechanical engineering CAD and simulation tools such as SolidWorks, Altair, Autodesk CFD
  • Strong analytical and hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to customers, peers, and management
  • Up to date with advancements in RF technology and industry trends, and incorporate relevant innovations into our design processes
  • Proficiency in computer programming languages, such as Python for data collection automation, analysis, processing, and visualization
  • Electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, FEKO, CST, or Microwave Office
  • Proficiency with RF test equipment including network analyzers and spectrum analyzers
