Requirements

• Typically 8+ years including 3+ years of management experience.
• Knowledge and experience in supplier and category management, ideally in interconnect components.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the negotiation, structure and administration of contractual documents that establish business relationships with vendors and suppliers for purchasing goods.
• Ensures favorable terms and volume discounts are negotiated that comply with company policies and procedures, legal requirements and/or other specifications.
• Manages the activities and staff involved in purchasing and procurement decisions.
• Provides strategic procurement guidance and develops programs, policies and procedures to produce efficiencies and reduce expenses through strategic sourcing.
• Ensures compliance to formal sourcing/procurement policies and preferred supplier agreements.
• Directs, reviews, and approves all major sourcing decisions.
• Manages a team including providing oversight and direction for financial and operational activities related to supplier product level inventory plans.
• Monitors market dynamics and develops supply plans to support demand trends for products within areas of responsibility.
• Other duties as assigned.
