What we are looking for: Lazy River Products is seeking a highly organized Product Line Coordinator to manage the lifecycle of our cannabis product portfolio. From post-development readiness through commercialization and in-market performance. In this role, you will serve as the central operational hub between Product, Compliance, Sales, and Marketing, ensuring smooth product rollouts and strategic maintenance. You will be responsible for operational execution, SKU management, and launch coordination. By managing the flow of data and timelines, you will enable the Marketing team to execute creative strategies effectively, ensuring that all teams have the insights and assets required for success. Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in inventory management, project management, product operations, or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods).
  • Project Management: Strong coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive cross-functional accountability.
  • Data Proficiency: High attention to detail with strong data analysis skills; ability to manage complex spreadsheets and margin reports.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to function as a liaison between technical, operational, and creative teams.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and comply with all legal or company regulation requirements for working in the industry.

  • Advanced Data Analysis: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas) with the ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and translate numbers into actionable insights.
  • Inventory Forecasting: Demonstrated ability to project inventory timelines and manage supply schedules to ensure product availability aligns with sales velocity and launch dates.
  • Project Management Software: Familiarity with Basecamp or similar project management tools to track deliverables, assign tasks, and streamline cross-departmental communication.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Massachusetts cannabis regulations and compliance standards.
  • Systems Proficiency: Prior experience with cannabis-specific platforms such as Metrc, Dutchie, Distru, or Alpine IQ.
  • Technical Aptitude: Experience managing backend platform settings, user permissions, or system configurations is a plus.
  • Education & Certifications: A degree in Business Management, Marketing, or other related field as well as Project Management certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Product Lifecycle & Launch Coordination
  • Launch Management: Lead the internal "Phase Review" process to track product readiness from concept to post-launch, ensuring all deliverables are completed on schedule.
  • Timeline Accountability: Coordinate cross-functional timelines including internal communications, sales readiness, packaging availability, and retail enablement.
  • Process Optimization: Proactively identify communication gaps and streamline workflows to improve the efficiency of product introductions and existing product management.
  • Performance Tracking: Maintain reporting for new product launches and track lifecycle performance using sales velocity and inventory data.
  • Competitive Intelligence Assessments and familiarity with product Market Requirements Document (MRD)
  • Data Integrity & Systems Administration
  • SKU Management: Manage the internal product catalog and associated data across all business platforms (e.g., Dutchie, Distru, Metrc) to ensure accuracy in naming, pricing, and categorization.
  • Menu Maintenance: Work with Retail to ensure menu accuracy, Point of Sale (POS) updates, and consistent representation of active products on digital display systems.
  • Documentation: Create and manage product master records, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), New Product Introduction (NPI) forms, and product change notices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement
  • Marketing Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for Marketing regarding product insights, technical specifications, and availability updates, ensuring the creative team has the data needed for campaigns.
  • Creative Coordination: Collaborate with Marketing to align timelines for promotional materials and ensure accurate product descriptions are available for retail and marketing use.
  • Compliance Alignment: Partner with Compliance and QA teams to ensure all packaging and product setups align with internal branding guidelines and Massachusetts CCC regulations.
  • Third-Party Logistics: In partnership with Purchasing, manage the onboarding and data setup for third-party products, ensuring vendor compliance and accurate system integration prior to launch.
