Product Lifecycle Engineer Experience Required: 5 to 10 years Responsibilities 1. Continuous Product Improvement Based on Field Feedback Collaborate with sales, marketing, channel partners, and distribution partners to gather field feedback, identify product issues, and drive continuous product improvements. Manage the post market surveillance process to monitor field performance, identify emerging risks or trends, and trigger investigation or corrective action as needed. Ensure cross-functional data collection and documentation. Write annual report based on findings. Manage analysis and disposition of units returned through the Return Authorization (RA) process, ensuring root cause is identified, findings are documented, and systemic corrective actions are driven when required. 2. Continuous Improvement in Manufacturing Oversee execution of key Quality Management System (QMS) processes. Build, refine, and improve QMS processes and supporting systems. Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and efficiency, ensuring quality is built into the product from the start. 3. Overall Product Lifecycle Management Oversee the product from launch to end-of-life, ensuring continuous improvement and integration of field feedback throughout its lifecycle. Manage the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process, including change documentation, cross-functional coordination, approval workflow, and implementation tracking. Ensure that the Bill of Materials (BOM) is maintained, coordinating updates between design, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and finance. Work closely with Manufacturing to implement product and process improvements, ensuring changes are effectively validated, released, and sustained in production. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience). 5–10 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, or product lifecycle roles. Strong working knowledge of Quality Management Systems and manufacturing quality methodologies. Experience managing or supporting ECO / change management processes. Experience performing root cause analysis and driving corrective / preventive actions. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills. Product management experience is a plus.
