We're looking for a driven and collaborative Manufacturing Engineer to join our ME Body Product Interface team, where you'll be instrumental in shaping manufacturable product designs that meet the demands of advanced vehicle manufacturing. In this highly integrated role, you will work cross-functionally with Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering & Operations, Dimensional Quality, and Suppliers to embed Manufacturing Requirements (MRs) and Best Practices (BPs) into every design release, ensuring product compatibility/interbuildability. You will lead the charge in managing engineering changes between product and manufacturing, lead Body-In-White (BIW) material procurement for launch, and resolve complex design/process issues through collaborative problem-solving. This role is key in enabling seamless launches and dimensional excellence.
