The ideal candidate will work with multi-functional teams to design, model, simulate and verify power distribution networks (PDN) for iPhones Our team is collaborative, creative and passionate about what we do and the products we make. Requirements

• MSEE or PhD preferred with 7 years of industry experience
• Understanding of power delivery system in battery powered devices and its impact on system level performance
• Ability to relate electrical performance to physical layout
• Experience with Thermal Analysis and modeling tools (Ansys Fluent, IcePak )
• Ability to relate electrical performance to physical layout
• Experience working with dynamic multi-functional teams
• Excellent Verbal, written and presentation skillsArray

Responsibilities

• Designing and analyzing power delivery networks including modeling of DC- DC converters
• Working with cross-functional stakeholders on Power Architecture, IP specifications performance and passives.
• Collaborating with Electrical and Thermal engineering teams to optimize performance
• Performing design feasibility study, designing testing and verification, and system bring up
• Providing design guideline and support to system architecture design, board layout, product bring up, debug, validation, and factory builds.
• Integrating thermal modeling into power delivery network simulations for comprehensive system analysis
