Group/Division The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts. Position available in Richardson TX, Phoenix, AZ and Milpitas CA. An IE works under supervision from Managers or senior IE's, but independently follows documented procedures and exercises judgment within defined procedures. - Knowledgeable in electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and electro-optical systems. - Competent with the MS Office suite of applications and have knowledge of computer theory, various operating system software knowledge and networking in a Windows, Unix or Novell environment. - Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills are required. - Ability to work in local or remote locations with domestic and international travel. Must be technically savvy and possess analytical, problem solving skills Must be self motivated and self driven and must be well organized Must be willing to travel to support installations worldwide Must be able to effectively work cross culturally Must be able to work cross functionally Primary responsibility is to achieve predictable Cycle Times and Warranty Starts for new tools installed at customer sites. Includes activities associated with setup, alignment, calibration, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of highly complex capital equipment. Represents the company to the customer and assumes accountability for customer satisfaction with all installation-associated activities. Assures operational quality of system equipment. Works directly with KLA regions and customers to verify new tool performance and transfer tool responsibility. Seeks warranty sign-off on newly installed tools

Requirements

  • Knowledgeable in electronics, optics, mechanical, electro-mechanical and electro-optical systems.
  • Competent with the MS Office suite of applications and have knowledge of computer theory, various operating system software knowledge and networking in a Windows, Unix or Novell environment.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills are required.
  • Ability to work in local or remote locations with domestic and international travel.
  • Must be technically savvy and possess analytical, problem solving skills

  • Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years

  • Preferable had experience in high vacuum systems.
